Manual Scans
How to run a scan on demand and when to use one.
When to run a manual scan
Run a manual scan when you want to check your brand immediately — without waiting for a scheduled scan.
Common reasons to run a manual scan:
- You just updated your website with new pricing, a new feature, or corrected information, and you want to see if AI has picked it up yet
- You want to verify a specific fix worked after marking an Accuracy Fix action as Actioned
- You've added new facts to your truth record in Brand Hub and want to see how the score changes
- You've added a new tracked query and want to see the first results
- You're checking your brand before an important announcement, launch, or campaign
How to run a manual scan
Go to Scan Control
Click Scan Control in the sidebar.
Choose what to scan
- To scan everything: Leave the defaults. AIVIS.space will scan all your tracked queries against all your selected AI models.
- To scan one query: Select the specific query from the list. This uses fewer scans from your weekly quota.
- To scan one model: Select the specific model (ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini).
Click Run Scan
The button shows "Running…" while the scan is in progress. Results appear in Scan Summary when it finishes.
Quota and manual scans
Manual scans count against your weekly scan quota the same way scheduled scans do.
If you're trying to verify a specific fix, run a targeted scan (one query, one model) rather than a full scan. This uses 1 scan from your quota instead of up to 9.
See Plan & Usage to check how many scans you have left this week.
What happens after a manual scan
- Scan Summary updates with the new result
- Your Overview KPI cards update
- Any new issues generate Actions automatically
If the scan result is Accurate for a previously actioned fix, AIVIS.space moves the Verify Fix action to Resolved.
