Run Your First Scan

How to check your brand across ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

What a scan does

A scan sends your tracked queries to AI models and collects their responses. AIVIS.space then compares each response against your truth record and produces a verdict — Accurate, Hallucinated, Competitor bias, or another result.

Every scan result is saved automatically. You can review it in Scan Summary immediately after the scan, or in the Audit Ledger at any time (Growth and above).


Before you run a scan

You need at least one brand set up in Brand Hub with at least one tracked query and at least one AI model selected.

If you haven't done this yet, start with Create your first brand.


How to run a scan

Go to Scan Control

Click Scan Control in the sidebar.

Select a query (optional)

Choose a specific query from the list, or leave it set to scan all your tracked queries. Running one query uses less of your weekly scan quota.

Select an AI model (optional)

Choose a specific model — ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini — or scan all models at once.

Click Run Scan

Click Run Scan. The button changes to "Running…" while the scan is in progress.

Wait for results

A scan takes 15–60 seconds depending on how many queries and models you selected. When it finishes, the Scan Summary below updates automatically.


What happens during a scan

AIVIS.space sends your queries to the selected AI models and collects their full responses. Then it:

  1. Reads each AI response
  2. Checks every statement about your brand against your truth record
  3. Identifies any links included in the response
  4. Produces a verdict for each response
  5. Calculates an Integrity Score
  6. Generates Actions if there are issues to fix

Scan quotas

Each plan includes a weekly scan quota.

The quota counter resets every Monday. You can see how many scans you've used this week in Plan & Usage.

Running a scan on all 3 queries × 3 models counts as 9 scans. Running one query on one model counts as 1 scan.

Tip

When testing a fix, run a single-query, single-model scan to verify the change without spending your full weekly quota.


Scheduled scans

AIVIS.space can also run scans automatically on a schedule. Set the scan frequency in Brand Hub under Campaign Settings — Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

After the scan

Go to Scan Summary to see the result. You'll see:

  • The verdict for the most recent scan
  • The Integrity Score
  • Whether your brand was detected
  • Which query and model were used
  • When the scan ran

FAQ

What if the scan fails? The Scan Control section shows an error message with a description of what went wrong. The most common cause is a temporary connectivity issue with the AI provider. Try running the scan again. If the problem continues, contact hello@aivis.space.

Does a scan use data from my website? No. AIVIS.space sends your tracked queries to AI models and reads their responses. It does not crawl your website during a scan. Your website information goes into your truth record in Brand Hub.

Can I run a scan while another one is in progress? No. The Run Scan button is disabled while a scan is running. Wait for the current scan to finish before starting another.
